Kimberly D. Scott

On this episode of Industry Celebrities Podcast, Kimberly D. Scott interviews Jan Villanueva, Dallas Branch Manager at the Liberty Group. Jann is full time working mom; a wife and mother to four girls and being active in the apartment industry keeps her busy. Started as a leasing agent in the apartment industry in 1998, at Barns Real Estate which is now Alpha Barnes. After being on the management side took the jump to being a supplier and in 2009 she became the first Dallas sales rep, at the Liberty Group. She shares how she was hired when she was 8 months pregnant. Jann loves her team and takes pride in the ability to develop and grow individuals into their careers. Jann looks at her life in decades, so her advice to her younger self (in her twenties) would be, “that’s probably not a good idea”. Advice to her younger self in her thirties would be, “nothing worth wild is ever easy”, keep pushing through.
