One of the more playful and deconstructed tracks on the record, HAHA lol started with a bass riff they decided to take apart and turn into something more rhythmical than melodic. This was a method they employed often during the recordings - allowing ideas to morph and evolve out of their original states when composing together. The verses have a dreamy almost fantastic quality – like you're flying through the sky in your bed or on the back of a dragon. The breaks in the middle incorporate water splashing, the radio, and lots of little percussions – like an exploding toy box you might encounter on another planet.
