The Cincinnati Reds opened cactus league play led by 2 home runs from Elly De La Cruz, one from each side of the plate. Gavin Lux traded in his L.A. Dodger blue for Cincinnati Reds and got a pair of hits in his Reds Cactus league debut. Mat McLain and CES made their return to on the field action and looked sharp as they work their way back from injuries that wrecked their 2024 seasons.
