The Cincinnati Reds were narrowly defeated by the Texas Rangers 1-0 in a tense pitching duel. Nathan Eovaldi was dominant on the mound, tossing a Complete Game shutout, and allowing no runs on just a few scattered hits. The Reds’ offense struggled to generate any real threats, unable to capitalize on their limited opportunities.
