Since recording this episode, the UK government has presented its new Animal Welfare Strategy. One of the things that is set to be banned is the boiling alive of lobsters and crabs. This an issue that Edie Bowles and her team have been campaigning on, taking the legal fight to the UK government and compelling them to change the welfare laws around crustaceans. Can the law take on animal farming?
