Jim Petersen is a TV analyst for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Chad asks Jim about his most distinctive Christmas memory as a youngster. Jim and Chad reminisce about walkie talkies, bike accidents and chin scars. In their second segment they chat a bit about athletes who happen to be followed by injuries with news of JJ McCarthy’s diagnosis with a hairline fracture in his right hand. Jim mentions a few names from the NBA whose careers have been massively impacted by injuries. They then dig into Wolves talk with the Knicks in town tonight. Chad provides some comments made by Karl Anthony Towns. Chad doesn’t think he’s over the trade from the Wolves last season. Jim speaks to the financial constraints keeping Towns in a Wolves uniform would’ve had on the organization. They also chat about Rudy Gobert’s big year, adding a point guard and the potential pieces that could make it happen.
