Dr. Carlos Aleman, JMU Associate Professor of Communications Studies, joins us during Hispanic Heritage Month to share about the Scholars Latino Initiative Shenandoah Valley chapter here in Harrisonburg.  SLI was created to provide leadership, mentorship, and support for local Hispanic youth in an effort to prepare them for college.
