We have a beautiful new restaurant here in Todos Santos, El Mirador, that’s situated high on a hill overlooking the Pacific. And besides great food and views, I was really taken by the desert landscaping…so I found the designer responsible for creating the gardens there…Mario Rodriguez, and he took the time to walk around with me and explained the native various plants he used. Following that is Girl Talk this week…since we recorded at El Mirador while trying the chefs specialties. My question for the girls this week is if someone were to write their biography…what would the title be. The second half of the show is completely devoted to the wines of Mexico..but more specifically the Baja wines.
