On Monday’s “Ecuador At Your Service” radio show, Ashley and Michel are honored to be interviewing the Archbishop of Cuenca, Ecuador, Monsignor Luis Gerardo Cabera. The interview discusses the new tourism campaign, sponsored by The Archdiocesan House of Cuenca and the Hotel Association of Azuay -- “Ruta Corazon de Cuenca (“Heart of Cuenca Route”) -- that kicked off on April 1st.  The campaign is aimed at raising critical funding to repair the city’s most recognizable sight– the blue domes of the Cathedral of the Immaculate (the “New Cathedral.”) The Monsignor will talk about the cultural and religious significance of the Cathedral, and will also tell listeners about their fundraising campaign that takes visitors on a tour of religious iconic buildings and sites in Cuenca, including the Episcopal House, the Old Cathedral, the Cathedral of the Immaculate, and the gardens of the San Luis seminary.
