In the third episode of Preach! A Podcast About Preacher your hosts discuss the revelations about Cassidy found in the issue. Also, the hypermasculinity in the comic, specifically the homophobia inherent to hypermasculinity, is talked about at length, along with the presence of homosexuality and gay rights in American culture. Additionally, the morality of the comic is talked about, its banality and moral complexity. Sadly, Tulip is again oppressed by the patriarchy, both in how she is presented in the comic, and in how little the male hosts discuss her.  Your hosts also discuss the first episode of the AMC chat show Talking Preacher, but sadly the do not talk about the second episode of the TV show because one did not air over Memorial Day weekend.
