The Long Wait                    The day finally came that we were to become parents. It had been a long four year wait. But the day came at last. Our social worker called and said she would like to come over and talk with us. She said she had some good news.                   As we waited for her to get to the house, my wife and I talked and wondered if we were getting a baby or older child.
