First time novelist Lauren Epshteyn, talks with Michelle Vandepas about "A Northern Gentleman," her writing process, the use of a nom-de-plume (Lane Everett), and ideas that sparked the conception of the novel and its main character, Drucker May. A Northern Gentleman is a historical fiction novel set in 1890's America that is fun and inventive.  It's a story that author Lane Everett wrote because it was something that she says "I, myself,  would want to read."
