All The Difference

Jesus shares His great thesis – perfection is required to enter the kingdom. This perfection is provided in Him alone as He completely and personally fulfills the Law [which was bilateral and temporal] and the Prophets [who pointed to Messiah]. The implication is that by perfectly fulfilling that limited covenant and those prophesies, Messiah Jesus He calls people to the Abrahamic covenant, which is unilateral, eternal, and entered by faith.
