Uninformed Opinions

Are we supposed to consider all the MCU movies as sequels to each other? Can I watch Infinity War without having seen all the others? Are we ok that most movies don't explain who the characters are or what they're doing there? I love these movies, but also, are we just giving them a free pass? That's this week episode.
