Durham Regional Police officers were called to a home in Oshawa on Saturday where they found a 38-year-old man and his eight-year-old daughter dead. Police are calling this a a murder-suicide without any outstanding suspects. According to the latest statistics, one woman is killed every six days as an act of violence against women in Canada.
