The Cincinnati Reds edged out the Cleveland Guardians 5-4 in a thrilling opening game of the Ohio Cup. Will Benson led the charge with a clutch three-run homer, giving the Reds an early boost. Austin Hays added a solo shot later in the game, which ultimately proved to be the difference-maker. On the mound, Brady Singer delivered a solid outing, going five innings and allowing just three earned runs.
