It can be so difficult to navigate our current healthcare system. This week, we have Dr. Alicia Morehead-Gee to help give us a little bit of guidance on how to understand the healthcare world. Dr. Morehead-Gee is an internal medicine physician and the director of inclusive care are AltaMed Health Services. She is an advocate for health equity, and works with marginalized groups to help make sure they are getting the best healthcare possible. Today, she answers all of our questions from how to pick a doctor to what to do to be prepared once you’ve actually scheduled an office visit.
