The bar scene in Chattanooga, Tn in the 1970s was really taking on a life of its own - thousands of young adults were celebrating life as one bar after the other popped up, however the world behind that bar scene was a pretty dangerous place to be. From firebombings to simple assaults and tax evasion to murder - the bright lights and the loud music covered up a seedy underground of crime, jealousy, and corruption. No story represents that more than the 1973 murder-for-hire killing of Roland Hargis outside of the Tiki Hut Bar!
