Autumn Kings is a Canadian-based (but almost Detroit) rap rock band who are truly bringing the groove back to the mainstream rock world. After grinding for over a decade the song "Sleep When I'm Dead" finds the band hitting a new height of success. Guitarist/singer/songwriter Jake Diab jones me for a conversation about who they are, how trauma can breed success and hit on that midwest nice. This conversation took place right before I left for Costa Rica two weeks ago and right before they left to tour Europe.
