Host Deardra Shuler invites French actress, Stana Roumillac, to talk about her role in the award winning film, "Elza," by filmmaker Mariette Monpierre.  Also, joining the discussion is Mist Theatre media consultant, Michelle Materre. A New York Times pick, "Elza" is presently being showcased at the brand new Mist Theatre, located at 46 West 116th Street in Harlem,  New York, until December 14th. A young french caribbean girl, Elza, raised in Paris, returns to her cultural home of Guadeloupe, where she seeks to find the father she never knew. The film depicts the plight of children whose father's desert them and who never look back to see how their abandonment affects their children. The filmmaker, Mariette Monpierre will join us later in the show to talk about the film's message.
