Host Deardra Shuler invites playwright Greg Kalleres to talk about his play entitled “HONKY.”  Through his comic production, Greg brings the issue of race to the forefront to explore the racism embedded within us all, whether in denial or not.  Can a pill cure us all? Well we will see what Greg has to say about the play's hypothetical theory.  Stay tuned on Sunday, October 27th at 3:00 pm to see if indeed its possible to discuss race and racism, facing issues that are not just black and white.   Greg Kalleres received his BFA from Tisch's Dramatic Writing Program at NYU. His plays have been produced in numerous cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Berkeley, Chicago and Beirut, Lebanon. Greg received the Certificate of Excellence from the Kennedy Center, is a two-time finalist for the Lila Acheson American Playwrights Program at Juilliard and a two-time finalist for Aurora Theatre Company's Global Age Project. His one-act plays have won top honors at the Samuel French Festival, Turnip Festival and Fusion
