It's hurricane season, a great time to review your insurance coverage. One area of coverage that's important in this area is flood insurance, but new policies were recently in limbo. The National Flood Insurance Program, which insures about $1.2 trillion in property, was just reauthorized by Congress, but critics of the program say an overhaul is needed. We'll talk with local homeowner and Wetlands Watch Executive Director Skip Stiles, a representative from VDEMS and others about the coverage you need to protect your property.
