42 members of the King's Counsel, some of New Zealand's most senior legal minds, are calling on the Government to abandon the Treaty Principles Bill. The group has written a letter to the Prime Minister and attorney-general Judith Collins outlining their 'grave concerns' about the bill - claiming it 'seeks to rewrite the Treaty itself'. One of the signatories is Karen Feint KC, and she says the bill will erase several key Treaty principles.
