The Brooklyn Nets opened their preseason with a game against the Los Angeles Clippers, losing 115-106 when it was all said and done. Brooklyn had injuries to Nic Claxton, Trendon Watford, and others, and also struggled mightily out of the gate, falling down big early. But we did get a sense of what Ben Simmons looked like following a clean bill of health preseason and there was a window into how Jordi Fernandez might use Cam Thomas even more in this offense.
