Detroit Tigers fell to the Chicago White Sox 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at Comerica Park. Despite a valiant effort from the Tigers' pitching staff, which managed to keep the White Sox relatively in check with only five hits allowed, the offense couldn't muster any run support. Andrew Benintendi was the standout performer for Chicago, going 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, and two RBIs. Bryan Ramos also contributed with a solo home run in the second inning. For the Tigers, Wenceel Perez and Colt Keith produced two of the team's three hits, but it was not enough to overcome the stellar pitching performance by Chicago’s Sean Burke, who threw five shutout innings with six strikeouts. Beau Brieske took the loss for Detroit, giving up one earned run in his two innings of work.
