Dr. Jamie Orr is a successful entrepreneur, physicist, and educator with expertise across a wide range of technical fields. She is passionate about helping young companies and students alike to thrive and discover their potential. She is a co-founder of Mountain Lab, Lake Tahoe's first co-working space and innovation hub. Jamie also teaches courses in physics, mathematics, chemistry, and green sustainable education, and consults in the areas of economic development, entrepreneurship, and education. Playing Small Moment Jamie was crushed when an advisor in her department didn’t show up for the faculty meeting, which would have helped her along in becoming a Ph.D. candidate. After the initial sting wore off, she decided she would move away from Physics and into the study of law.
