It's Thanksgiving week, and a lot of people are spending time thinking about what they're grateful for. As I reflect on my life, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the people who have made a difference in my life story.Today, I share that story, as well as the practical lessons that I've learned along the way to help you in leadership and life. I note the importance of giving voice to gratitude, and the power of inviting a person to be a part of something. I define real friendship, sharing my friend's observation that real friends don't just love you as you are; they love you enough not to let you stay where you are. I emphasize the weight your words hold, I invite you to let God write your story, and I call you to reach out to the people who have made a difference in your life.
