Send us a textIn 1Samuel 15, the prophet told Saul that God values obedience over sacrifice. In Joshua 7, God told Joshua it wasn’t the time to pray while there was sin in the camp. In other words, sin saps the power from our prayer and blocks them from getting answered. The truth is that oftentimes we are to blame for unanswered prayers. God has told us how to pray and even what to say, but many times, unanswered prayers are due to the fact that we have allowed something to come between us and God. That something is called sin, and it strains our relationship. (Text: James 1:5-8; 4:1-10)
