The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 4: 6:05pm- On Wednesday, the United States Supreme Court issued a ruling in Murthy v. Missouri—a case centered around government-coerced censorship on social media. In a 6 to 3 decision, the court ultimately determined that the plaintiffs lacked standing to bring the suit—consequently, the case will be returned to a lower court. But if states don’t have standing, then who does? In his scathing dissent, Justice Samuel Alito argues, “high-ranking government officials placed unrelenting pressure on Facebook to suppress Americans’ free speech.
