She is lucky enough to have an employer that understands the challenges that she faces and allows her to work periodically as her schedule allows, which she finds immensely fulfilling, providing her with a sense of purpose and autonomy. Despite the challenges she has faced being thrown into the role of caregiver, she refuses to let caregiving define her entire identity. She is a part of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, which will empower her to leverage her experiences and expertise to advocate for fellow caregivers, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need to thrive.
