Locked On Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays win the second game of the series against the Milwaukee Brewers 3-0. As yesterday was one of the most typical Blue Jays losses, this was a typical Blue Jays win, with stellar starting pitching and a mediocre offense that produces just enough to get by with a win. Yusei Kikuchi struggled with command at times in this start, working into some jams but working out of them just as fast. A huge positive from this game was the bullpen, pitching four scoreless innings to keep the Milwaukee Brewers off the board. This bullpen performance was led by Nate Pearson who struck out the side while allowing a hit, and Yimi Garcia who came in and was very effective in his four-out save. Spencer Horwitz continues to impress from the leadoff spot, generating another two hits and an RBI for an offense that needs runs desperately.
