In this series, the Blue Jays won a game that went to 14 innings due to the offense refusing to score a runner on second with zero outs. In game two, the Blue Jays looked like they were not playing a team from the same league as they got killed by the Pirates 8-1. Horrible at-bats and a tough start from Yusei Kikuchi were the contributing factors to this scoreline. In game three, Rowdy Tellez tried his best to win the series for the Pirates, but this offense did JUST enough to win this game and the series for the Toronto Blue Jays.
