Ghiya Rushidat is an acclaimed music composer with a unique approach to creating immersive, intense, and sensorial soundtracks. She began learning piano when she was only four. She performed in more than 150 concerts across the Middle East and Europe. In Los Angeles, Ghiya conducts orchestras, including the American Victory Orchestra. This came after she completed numerous successful projects. Her first composition, Hollywood film, Pen of Mirrors, was in 2014. Subsequent productions included The Heart of Amilcar Cabral in 2016 and Cecilia, which was released in October 2018. Presently, Ghiya continues to write original music for groups across the world. So far, she has recorded with big orchestras in Budapest, LA, and San Francisco. She has also made compositions for royal events across the Middle East. Up to date, one of her most notable achievements is her piece, Fly and Flow Ghiya was accepted to the prestigious Sundance composers lab as one of the eight qualifying composers out of 800 applicants.
