We begin our Lenten series called “Depths of Love.” In it, we will explore the depths of God's love in our Lenten journey to the cross. Our first message is called “Has Come Near.” Today we think about why we do what we do in Lent and explore what we can give up and what we can take up. Our scripture readings come from Genesis 9:8-17; 1 Peter 3:18-22; and Mark 1:9-15.
