The subject of the most recent addition to the Nixon Now podcast is a timely one. Since the fall of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi in 1979, Iran and the United States have not had diplomatic relations. Despite recent agreements made in the realm of nuclear proliferation, the diplomatic climate between the United States and Iran has remained murky and has only moved slowly in the positive direction of rapprochement.
