Marking the 50th anniversary of the dramatic year of 1968 (which also saw the election of President Nixon), on this edition of the Nixon Now Podcast we interviewed Richard Vinen for his newly released book "1968: Radical Protest and Its Enemies,” which explores how the events of 1968 — from anti-war marches, worker strikes to violence on the streets of the world's greatest cities — shaped much of today’s culture. Richard Vinen is Professor of History at Kings College, London and the author of a number of major books on 20th Century Europe.
