26th AmerAri Invitational Intercollegiate Golf Tournament at Waikoloa Beach Resort – Waikoloa Beach Resort Kings’ Course will host the 26th Amer Ari Intercollegiate with top Division I players on Wednesday February 1- Saturday February 4, 2017.The University of Hawaii-Hilo Division II golf team, Coach Earl Tamiya, Asst' Coach Ron Takahashi, a committed group of volunteers and Waikoloa Beach Resort Head PGA Pro Kevin Ginoza and his team are host to this very well run tournament of top Division I teams from across the country. The Amer Ari is considered one of the most popular and competitive intercollegiate tournaments involving most of the Pac 12 and some of the top 10 teams in collegiate golf with certainly some of the up and coming collegiate stars and future PGA Tour Players. Matt Kuchar, Tiger Woods, Notah Begay, Bob May, Jordan Speith are just a few who have played in this event during their collegiate golf careers. The event is free and spectators are welcome.
