Passion Design Project

Ellen Gallant got a chocolate cake for her 51st birthday, which just so happened to be during her 3rd attempt of Mount Everest. After her previous two trips were stricken by tragedy, where instead of reaching the summit she found herself utilizing her medical skills on the injured, she was more determined than ever to stand atop Mount Everest this time around. I interviewed Ellen only two weeks after she returned from Nepal and she tells her story in stunning and intriguing detail. Ellen brings so much wisdom around the idea of looking at the bigger picture vs. personal victories, and it was an absolute pleasure to talk about the experience with her. I've never had any desire to climb Mount Everest, so hearing about what it meant to Ellen gave me a whole new view on the process, and I think it will for you too!
