Seems like the NFL is back up to its bs again. Russell Wilson, who is married to the fabulous Mrs. Ciara, was recently benched by his team the Denver Broncos and is expected to be benched the rest of the season. Per Russell he is being benched in retaliation for his refusal to renegotiate his contract specifically to remove the injury guarantees. However, the team by way of the coach, has denied this claim insisting that the decision to bench Russell was based solely on what’s best for the team. Prior to the team benching Russell, the NFLPA informed the Broncos that it had become aware of the team’s threat to bench him because he refused to renegotiate his contract and stated that if the team carried out its threat they would be in breach of the collective bargaining agreement, Russell’s contract and violate NY law.
