Jess Baudry - one of the founders of Festrogen, a women-centric, multi-part comedy festival hosted in Luxembourg - joined Simon to talk about this month’s event. Festrogen aims to build a safe space for people identifying as women, non-binary, and/or queer and to perform, and to develop and hone their comedy skills through workshops and comedy showcases. This year’s festival offers three workshops to both established comedians and those just getting started: ‘How to be a Great MC & Work a Crowd’ with Mel Byron, ‘Joke Writing for Beginners’ with Anshita and Erin, and ‘Standing Up to Imposter Syndrome’ with Alexandra Neves.
