It’s our final podcast of 2018 and it’s a good one as Tom Kakert and Matt Randazzo are joined by former Hawkeye Julian Vandervelde to talk plenty of football. First we take a deep dive into national signing day and the 20 recruits that Kirk Ferentz and his staff signed this week. We also look ahead to what positions they are looking at for the February signing day and we glance ahead to some targets in the Class of 2020. Then we talk Outback Bowl and some of Julian’s memories of playing in the game and discuss Mississippi State and what they bring to the table. Then we dive into a little hoops talk about the Iowa basketball team before wrapping up with a visit to the nerdy nook to discuss upcoming superhero movies.
