As we continue our pandemically-challenged lifestyle from the Windy City Irish Radio​ studios near and far, there are  words ( and wink wink, songs) that come to mind. Joy. Smiles. Light. And Beer. Regarding the latter, there is nothing better as it is currently 5 o'clock somewhere all day long no matter where you live.  Listen for brand new music from Dublin singer-songwriter Chris Short Music​, birthday boy Glen Hansard​, Nashville's own Scott Mulvahill​ and Donegal man John McGrenaghan. Songs from Makem & Spain, Mike Denver​, Gaelic Storm​ and Mary Black​ of course help us along. We close out out the night with a true Irish tribute to the great John Prine​ featuring Nanci Griffith​, Mundy​ and the man himself among friends. He was a true Irish man at heart.
