My experience is my own, but also, anecdotally, a lot of people’s experience as well.** The Outsider and The Book of Eli Both about faith. Interesting pairing of stories. Holly at one point says she often needs skeptics more than she needs believers. It gets me thinking about the importance of open-mindedness on both ends. Believers and skeptics need to accept each other. They make each other stronger. But they have to come to their beliefs at their own pace. This show, and book, almost seems to be explicitly about faith. As far as Eli goes, I really thought the story was so effective and I love that the villain acknowledges the history of abuse of
