On today’s episode of the Paying Attention Podcast, Tom is going to talk about Earth Day and how until we start holding our local legislators accountable, no amount of garbage pickup or tree planting will help save the planet.   With the Shootings in Lawrence this past weekend Tom is once again calling for the encrypted police scanners to be unencrypted for public safety.  He is also discussing the investigation report against the Lawrence police chief, which has been issued but not released to the public, will it end up going to trial? Will the Chief step down?
