Senator Mike Rounds (R-SD) appeared on CNN's State of the Union with #JakeTapper. He made it clear that Republican orthodoxy to cut and privatize Social Security. Senator #MikeRounds of South Dakota did not dismiss support for Rick Scott's program to sunset Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Instead, he bloviated and hunkered down. He used the more affluent pundits, who he assumes have good private/public retirement plans to insinuate privatizing at least part of Medicare is a possibility if they come back into power. He used the word 'manage' often as if our Social Security dollars are input to a stock portfolio.
