Discover your Internal Metric.  I personally struggled with this for a long time in my early stages of sales & entrepreneurship more than 20 yrs ago before I realized if I want to charge $0, $X,XXX, $XX,XXX.XX, $XXX,XXX or $X,XXX,XXX.XX it is what I determine to be of value. Not what someone wants to negotiate or change to benefit them. I had to figure out what my life's journey was and made it happen. I now understand my value isn't what others people perceive it to be although I am the business owner / advisor but what I perceive my internal metric to be.  My point while people may be interviewing you - You are interviewing them as well to ensure your goals align with their goals.
