Thank you everyone that's tuned in, gave a like, comment, or share on social, it all means the world to me. As the podcast expands, your feedback means the world to me so I'm going to be expanding the infrastructure to allow for the highlighting of people in the community and a reboot of an interview series called the spotlight I implemented 3 years ago earlier in my creative career.

The best way I believe to be motivational is to stay true to yourself. There's no need to appear to be someone you're not when you know in your soul it doesen't feel right. If you become truly honest with yourself then that's where the motivational spirit will come from. Trust me, success is an internal thing, not from the external things that we gratify so the time.

As in observing the landscape of many developing business owners like myself, I'm realizing that alot of us are entering the business world solely because it's easy. Not because we love sales, not because we love the process of building meaningful relationships, not because we love the climb. Today, I implore that you truly look yourself in the mirror and understand whether you're even cut out to make a business, whether you're actually good at building a brand and whether you need a partner who's good. Maybe you might be a writer, or maybe you're better off just giving out hair advice instead of trying to sell it. If one person can understand this and figure themselves out, your path will become so much clearer.

Hey Podcast tonight's episode is about measuring your self awareness. I'm lead to believe that we don't have all the customers we desire because of simple laziness. Pursuing any business isn't easy. It requires time dedication and perseverance. Don't sit and dwell that you don't have your customers. You have to go hunt for them. We're too passive with our customer acquisition and this is a call to action to be active in seeking out the people that we want to work with.

Hey Podcast, today I reflect on earlier this week where I lost my SD card that contained photos from a bridal shower that I covered last weekend. Honesty is a great business tactic. It allows us as business owners to keep our integrity and leverage as a service provider. It means that sometimes we're losing short term money but we're building brand, which is one of the most powerful tools that we can have in our toolkits.

As I wait to execute a Photoshoot at 8:30 this morning I had some thoughts around truly aligning yourself with your mission. Are you in the game you're in for legacy, or are you in it for a quick flip? That choice is up to you but I think the quicker you're honest with your ideals, the quicker you can get on the path to maximizing this!

Hey Podcast, in 2019 it is difficult to be a photographer but it's also one of the best times to do so given the abundance of opportunity. One thing we have to quickly realize is that we're commodities. People add us to their carts, do price comparisons, and select whoever fits their budget or current circumstance at the moment.  Over the course of the past five years, I've learned that It's usually never personal. And while we're commodities, the landscape is such that media is also commoditised. What this means is that we can engage with our potential customers at scale on platforms like instagram and Facebook, engage with them and put our two cents into the world.  The only question now is are you going to spend the time to engage with people and go hunt for your customers?

Hey everyone, I spent most of the day editing and engaging with people in instagram so I wanted to get on here real quick to speak about the importance of free work. It is the gateway to opportunity. By doing free work you get yourself in the door, you create an opportunity to build connections, and you get to show who you are. Five years into the game, I'm still activity collaborating and constantly innovating on ways to increase my content output. I hope this sparks you to keep working!

Hey podcast, today I speak very briefly on why all of us need to employ some form of marketing. The opportunity is too great for us to be making excuses for why we aren't getting the output we can. It's quite simple, the reason you aren't getting as many phone calls or inquiries is because no one is aware of you. Marketing is bringing awareness to your products and services and without it although it isn't always a direct return on investment, it's the sole variable between someone knowing who you are, and you being invisible.

I truly believe that It is now more practical than ever to apply this idea in a 21st century world. What I mean by this is that the infrastructure of the internet allows us all to gain unique audiences around things that we're passionate about. There was never a time in the world that someone could speak about comic books, their love for dry herbs, or custom made socks, and make a $40, 000 in ad funding. Using happiness as a framework for business development is going to be a real conversation soon because the cost of entry is $00.00. Doing what makes you happy almost guarantees you'll put in an immense amount of hours and if you do it long enough. In my five years thus far, beautiful things are beginning to happen and I truly believe that if you're good at refining the business tactics around what you love, it's almost like magic.
