Edward Killingsworth with structural engineer Alfred Yee designed his only speculative project in his career in Waikiki’s Seaside Avenue and sold it to United Airlines who used it as the “Seaside Hotel” for their staff and sold it in 2012 and the buyers rebranded and refurbished it into the Shoreline Hotel in a way to be critically discussed. We both sponsored the Informational Pop Up Rally at Ala Moana Beach Park on Oct. 26 to further answer questions as to what’s next and what can be done at this point.
