Today is a very special episode with my friend, Joey Mascio. Joey was a former public school middle school teacher and got the opportunity to work with a lot of teens. He got to see a lot of the common issues and concerns that they had. Since then, he has become a life coach and specializes in helping teens build confidence and help them to be resilient to all of lives ups and downs. Today is a very special day at our house. My son is getting married!! Also, next week my husband and I will be celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary. I started homeschooling 17 years ago. I have graduated four kids, and have three kids still home with me. My 4th baby has graduated from homeschool! I have interviewed each of my kids when they graduated and I love hearing their perspective on how did they like homeschooling. In today's episode, I ask my son some of his favorite things about our homeschool, and some of his least favorite things. We also cover how my son really struggled with anger and depression, and what he did to help him through those times. You are not going to want to miss this episode.

Have you ever worried if you should quit homeschooling? Whenever I have a big change in our home, I start to doubt myself and my ability, and wonder if I should quit homeschooling. This fall I will only have three kids living at home, and two of those kids are mostly independent in their education.  That means that I will be only be homeschooling one kid at times. Something that I have never done before. When I started homeschooling, I had five kids, so to go down to one feels foreign and challenging. I want to share with you of what I have been worrying about and if I am going to keep homeschooling or quit.

I was at the playground a few weeks back, and I watched a little girl run crying to her mom about a group of kids being mean to her. Little did the mom know that the little girl had started the whole thing. Instead of getting curious, the mom got after the other kids.
