Sunday witnessed another remarkable moment in the history of British cycling as Tao Geoghegan Hart won the Giro d'Italia for Ineos Grenadiers, seeing off Jai Hindley in the final time trial in Milan after going into Stage 21 level on time.Tao becomes the fifth Brit to win a Grand Tour, a run started by Brad and carried on by Geraint Thomas, Chris Froome and Simon Yates. Bradley Wiggins was blunt in his assessment of cycling’s attempted show of solidarity with anti-racism sentiments at the start of the final stage of the Tour de France: pathetic.
